New Winamp Beta for Android Mobiles

Winamp Android
Winamp, which is a music player, first became available on Android mobiles late in October and now a new beta version has been released.

One of the main draws of Winamp is that it enables you to wirelessly sync your music from your Desktop PC to your mobile over WiFi. You can also do this over USB if you don't have a WiFi network. In order to use this feature you need Winamp installed on both your PC and your Android mobile.

The new beta adds support for SHOUTcast Radio, which means you can listen to any of over 40,00 internet radio stations.

The "Now Playing" screen on Winamp enables you to view song info, album art and much more. If you press and hold you can interact to get even more info about the artist or song currently playing. It also has an excellent Queue management system where you can easily see what tracks will be played next and change or skip tracks.

The new version also adds a new smaller widget for you home-screen, so you can easily access Winamp.

The Winamp Beta is compatible with all mobiles running on Android 2.1 or later. You can download Winamp for Android free by clicking here.
